So as I mentioned in my previous post, I have been interning at Sorapol for the last week or so. It was a very last minute thing, as they needed help preparing for their show. Even though I've only been there for a week, I have learned so much. Everyone there is so skilled and great fun to work with.
The show went down really well. It was at 33 Portland Place, which is where they filmed part of the King's Speech. Illamasqua were there doing the makeup, which looked incredible.
These are a couple of garments that I helped with. And when I say helped, I literally mean sewing on trimmings and fastenings, and stitching in lining. I can hardly take any credit for the amazing work that was done before I came along.
How good are the headpieces??
Photos are by Daniel Ellyot and the rest can be viewed here.
